Cosentino recently announced their newest collection of 2020 – the Liquid Collection by PATTERNITY for Dekton®. Here is what they’ve said about it:
Designed by London-based pattern experts and designers, PATTERNITY, in collaboration with Cosentino’s Design Team, the 2020 collection offers three new innovative colors, to be previewed at Design Miami this December. Taking over the Collectors Lounge, the highly conceptual installation will showcase an original concept for Dekton® in three new colors.
Cosentino commissioned pattern experts and designers, Anna Murray and Grace Winteringham of PATTERNITY, to create a collection for Dekton® that reflects the state-of-the-art material. Inspired by Liquid, each of the individual colors are aesthetically innovative and as a collection, touch on the future of global trends. True to the PATTERNITY ethos, the collection’s concept centers around the beauty of nature, environmental awareness and celebrating sustainable design practice.

There are three colors in the new Liquid Collection and we’re very excited about them. Each one promotes power of liquid with a swirling, rippling and fluid texture.

Liquid Sky
With this pattern Dekton® has given us a cloud-like pattern of a white base with flowing grey veins. It gives a sense of swirling energy and perpetual motion
Liquid Shell
This pattern is a bit more subtle, focusing on the gentle, rhythmic aspect of nature. The background white is a bit iridescent, with an off-white ripple pattern to bring interest. The pattern is meant to reference the landscape of the ocean floor.

Liquid Embers
The final design in the Liquid Collection is Liquid Embers. Here Dekton® has brought us a dark stone that, according to them, represents a meeting point between fire and liquid. It’s a dark, carbon-colored design that almost seems to move as you look at it.
