We are proud to announce our new division, Architectural Stone of Montana. Our new technology and equipment can carve almost anything out of high quality stone. ASM will produce tubs, sinks, turnings, address boulders, shower pans and so much more. Technology meets innovation in a way that would make even Michelangelo proud.
The new additions to our operations will allow us to scan and carve incredibly intricate design. Our true 6-axis machine, which means it operates along an XYZ plane: X axis (vertical), Y axis (horizontal), and a Z axis (depth) as well as rotating along three the rotational axes A,B, and C. What does that mean exactly? Basically we can build a design from 6 sides at once along several planes to create incredibly intricate design at lightning speeds.
So what do we use it for? The short answer is anything you can come up with, really. We can scan an image and create an exceptionally accurate life-size statue. In fact we’re already working on creating a statue for the cite of Bozeman to commemorate their founder, John Bozeman. Who would you commemorate with this technology?
If a life-sized statue isn’t really what you’re looking for, don’t worry. ASM offers so much more. We can produce columns, furniture, corbels, one piece shower niches, church sanctuary pieces, table legs to support massive island counter top overhangs, engrave signs, address boulders, carve tubs or sinks, and so much more
