There’s nothing more exciting than a new countertop design hitting the market, isn’t there? We certainly think so. that’s why we’re so happy to announce the latest collection from our partner, Cambria. Born from Nature includes two stunning new designs, Oakleigh™ and Delamere™. Their inspiration comes from a desire to create designs that compliment all of the most popular materials in use today. Let’s take a closer look at each design.
Oakleigh™
This design is all about the light and bright feel that is so popular today. The official Cambria description is:
High-contrast, deep-black veins are juxtaposed with understated gold veins on a pristine, cool white canvas. Both the black and gold shimmer with light. Softer capillaries, gradated from the dominant ones, add delicacy.
We are so excited to start using this design in future kitchens and bathrooms. It works great with many different design styles. You could pair it with natural wood cabinets for that Scandinavian look. You could also go the other direction with high gloss black cabinets for a sleek contemporary feel. The only limitation is your own creativity.
Delamere™
Ths design takes us in the opposite direction of Oakleigh™. Where Oakleigh™ is light, bright, and bold, Delamere™ is rich and sophisticated. Cambria describes it as:
In this clean, neutral design, contrasting white veins float diagonally across a soft, almost charcoal, chocolate brown background. Lighter, softer white lines intersect with the bolder diagonals.
Delamere™ brings warmth to any space whether you use this in a bathroom, kitchen, or anywhere around the home. If you love gold fixtures and warm cast-iron details this will be the perfect fit. Of course, you could also go for a more high-contrast look and pair it with bright white cabinetry. Either way, this design makes us want to curl up in a cozy corner with a cup of something warm.
